Mindblind

A song for Autism

Has anyone mentioned I like railways?

Mindblind—A Website for Autism

Hi. In 2000, The song “Mindblind” was released at Autism Scotland in Glasgow.

As it was playing over the PA in the Auditorium, my musical mind kicked into gear and I thought “ I bet that would be easy to play on the keyboard.”

I was given the challenge by the Scottish Society for Autism, and Jim Thornton, the writer of the song to do this and was given a free copy of the CD Single to listen to and try.

I mastered the entire track in about two years, and after a while the track became a bit tired, so I gave it a slight overhaul, and wrote and added a new drum track.

Jim then threw a spanner in the works and re-wrote the instrumental line-up in 2004. I immediately followed suit, and did this new version on the keyboard. The rest, they say, is history………….
